Rescue The Guy

Rescue The Guy is a puzzle game in which your goal is to rescue a bunch of people who, for some reason, are stuck under a stone. Luckily, you can use a series of artifacts and gears to create crazy machines capable of lifting the stone without hurting the poor people trapped underneath it.

The gameplay in Rescue The Guy is very simple. On each level, you'll have to lift the rock without hurting the person underneath it, a process which usually consists of combining two gears, connecting a couple of mechanical parts, pulling a rope, or doing something similar. Best of all, performing any of these actions is very intuitive. Typically, all you have to do is drag and drop objects on the screen to connect them with others. Of course, you have to be careful, because most levels offer some kind of solution that is actually a trap, since it ends up crushing the person.

On Rescue The Guy, you'll find dozens and dozens of levels that progressively increase in difficulty. In the first few levels of the game, there's a hand that tells you what to do; but later on, you'll have to solve complex puzzles with nothing more than your own intelligence. In any case, the average duration of each level is just over five seconds, so, whether you solve the puzzle or not, it won't take long to find out if you've managed to rescue the poor victim.

Rescue The Guy is a simple and entertaining puzzle game reminiscent of a simplified version of The Incredible Machine, only with much shorter levels. The short duration of each level is a plus for mobile games like this one, since it's a great way to play for just a few minutes at a time.
